At Lizellen La Follette MD, Inc., we offer women comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. Our goal is to provide each woman with the best and most personalized OB Gyn care possible. We love working with women at all stages of their lives. We enjoy working closely together, providing women with the best that each of us has to offer.
We believe that each woman is on her own journey and that she is best served by making thoughtful, educated decisions for herself rather than having decisions made for her by her health care providers. We see ourselves as partners with the women we serve, providing them with education, support, nurturing care, and choices. To that end, we offer a wide range of integrative services and access to an extensive referral network. We enjoy working collaboratively with many providers, including fertility specialists, acupuncturists, endocrinologists, doulas, perinatologists, chiropractors, urologists, psychotherapists, and others.
Serving women from Marin County, San Francisco, the East Bay, and beyond, we have labor and delivery privileges both at Marin General Hospital (MGH) and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). Dr. La Follette and Dr. Binkley are also active with Novato Community Hospital and the Marin Specialty Surgery Center.
Dr. Lizellen La Follette founded her practice in August 2004 based on the belief that each woman deserves warm, attentive, and individualized care. She created an office that is bright, cheerful, and welcoming to patients. As Dr. La Follette's practice grew, she saw the need to have providers join her who shared her vision of holistic, broad-minded women's healthcare. Her team includes Lucia Franca, MD and Jeanne-Marie Crowe, CNM. Together they have formed a unique collaborative practice: they are the only all-women's Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Marin County.
